  Before using the grinder for the first time, clean the external bin and beans with a clean, damp cloth. Make sure the inside is completely dry before use. Wash the soil bin and lid in warm water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
  Using the bean grinder:
  1. Install the bean camera on the appliance correctly. Align the unlock marker on the base with the ▽ on the basket. Make sure the hands on the bean basket are aligned with the grooves on the main body. The bean bin can be rotated when the ▽ aligns with the ○ marker. Note: The display shows a B1 alarm if the bin is not properly seated.
  2. Rotate the bean bin clockwise to lock it in place, then adjust the coarseness of the coffee grind.
  3. The coffee grinder offers 60 selectable grind settings. Depending on the type of coffee powder you want, rotate the bean bin clockwise and adjust the scale on the bean bin to the desired grind level, from coarse to fine.
  4. Open the lid of the bin, fill it with the desired whole coffee beans, then close the lid. NOTE: The bean bin holds up to 80 grams of beans. If particularly hard beans or foreign objects are ground, the display shows alarm B2.
  5. Using the soil bin: Install the soil bin and lid correctly. Check that all parts are correctly located on the main unit. Note: The ground bin holds up to 60 grams of ground coffee.
  6. Using the filter holder: Attach the filter holder to the bracket. Note: The correct amount of coffee may appear to overflow the portafilter; This is normal. Unattended coffee grounds process approximately three times the volume of buffered grounds.
  7. Replace the small filter holder bracket: Use a hex wrench to remove the large filter holder bracket. Install the prepared small filter holder bracket, tighten the screws and the product is ready for normal use.
